Midi Health and its affiliated clinical organizations have developed the Midi Heath Office Closure Policy that outlines office closures for all departments. After-hours protocols are still in effect during office. Office Closure days are paid benefits to full-time (32+ hours per week) employees only.
Midi currently recognizes the following Office Closures for 2024:
New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Day
President’s Day
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year’s Eve
The following provisions apply during Office Closures:
Non-exempt employees required to work during office closures will be paid at their standard hourly rate.
Unless actual work is performed, Office Closure pay will not be considered as hours worked for non-exempt employees for the purpose of overtime calculation.
Employees on current leave of absence, layoff, or receiving short or longer-term disability benefits are not eligible for office closure pay.
Office Closure days are not accrued.
If Christmas Day / New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on Monday.
If Christmas Day / New Year’s Day falls on a Saturday they will be observed on the Friday before
