Employee Handbook Welcome
To all the fresh faces joining Moon Health (“Midi,” or “us,” “we”), we extend a heartwarming welcome. We are thrilled to have you on board and look forward to the unique contributions you'll bring. To our long-term companions, a sincere "thank you" for your enduring commitment and hard work.
“Moon,” “us,” and “we,” are used to refer to Moon Health and all affiliated clinical organizations, individually and collectively, however, employees will be designated to be the employee of the entity appearing on the employee’s paycheck.
We've put together this Handbook, along with any state-specific supplements, to serve as a compass guiding you through our personnel policies, compensation plans, and benefits. But remember, this is your journey, and your manager and Human Resources are always there to assist with any inquiries about your employment.
Think of this Handbook as a roadmap rather than a rulebook. It supersedes any previous handbooks, but Moon retains the right to alter its path by changing or modifying its interpretation of guidelines, policies, practices, working conditions, or benefits. This can occur at any time, with or without notice, and unless otherwise restricted by law.
Rest assured, significant changes to company policies will be promptly communicated to you—we believe in transparent communication. Nonetheless, it remains imperative that you take an active role in keeping abreast of our policies. Kindly ensure that you review the policies consistently, as this will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of your rights and responsibilities within the organization
Please note, no employee should view this Handbook as a guarantee of specific treatment in certain situations. In addition, when it comes to matters like benefits described in other official documents, those documents take precedence over any statements made in this Handbook or by any supervisor or manager.
NEITHER THIS HANDBOOK NOR ANY OTHER COMPANY GUIDELINES, POLICIES, OR PRACTICES CREATES AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT, BARGAIN, OR AGREEMENT OR CONFERS ANY CONTRACTUAL RIGHTS WHATSOEVER. UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EMPLOYMENT WITH MIDI IS AT-WILL, AND EITHER THE EMPLOYEE OR MIDI MAY TERMINATE EMPLOYMENT AT ANY TIME, WITH OR WITHOUT CAUSE, REASON OR NOTICE. NO REPRESENTATIVE OF MIDI IS AUTHORIZED TO PROVIDE ANY EMPLOYEE, INDIVIDUALLY OR ON A COLLECTIVE BASIS, WITH AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OR SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT CONCERNING THE TERMS OR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT UNLESS THE CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT IS IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.
This notice is for every employee, regardless of their hire date.
Always remember, you are now part of a family committed to changing the healthcare landscape, and we are excited to have you with us on this journey.
